Greentrotter wants to be a guide for sustainable, quality, "experiential" tourism, so that every visitor can live a personalized and unique experience in a heritage of beauty to be discovered and known as the Park of Porto Conte and the Marine Protected Area Capo Caccia - Isola Piana.
Greentrotter presents a series of experience packages, differentiated by services and products offered to tourists throughout the year. Visitors can in turn testify directly on social media emotions and experiences lived in the two protected areas. Greentrotter will serve as a guide for all the protected areas and parks established in Sardinia, including maps it will be able to act as a virtual guide for the caves and karstic areas, paths in the forests to discover the fauna of the parks and protected marine faunas.
Greentrotter is also suitable for student visits as it includes itineraries, the possibility to book guided tours, activities and educational workshops that directly involve students and stimulate their active participation, critical thinking, sense of belonging and acting for the environment.
Greentrotter is for those who want to enjoy breathtaking views and enjoy the pleasure of walking along natural paths in the shade of the pinewoods and holm oaks of the Park, it is worth a visit to the state forest of Prigionette-Porto Conte or Punta Giglio. Visiting the park with a Greentrotter is a unique opportunity for enrichment and a way to develop a conscious awareness for everyone about the importance and fragility of the environmental, historical and cultural heritage of the Park.
With this guide we want to give a tool for the eco-sustainable enhancement of the local territory with its tourist services and its products certified according to the certification regimes regulated by the park. In the protected areas a system of certification of the environmental quality of the tourist products and services provided within the protected natural areas has been developed. Living the Park means respecting it and enjoying its nature in a conscious way.
Therefore, a sustainable use of the territory cannot disregard the active involvement of the community and the productive component that is called to represent the optimal management model.
Greentrotter will then be extended to all other parks in Sardinia such as the Asinara and Maddalena Archipelago National Park, the Gulf of Orosei and Gennargentu National Park, Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area, Molentargius Regional Nature Park, Gutturu Mannu Regional Nature Park, Tepilora Regional Nature Park, as well as all areas of environmental importance.
